“And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.” — Colossians 2:10 (KJV)
Have you ever looked around at your life — your job, your family, your church, your responsibilities — and whispered to yourself:
“Why do I still feel like something is missing?”
As Christian women, we pour ourselves out trying to do it all:
Care for our families
Show up at work
Serve in church
Stay connected to God
Yet beneath all the busyness, there can be a quiet ache:
“Is this all there is? Why do I feel incomplete even when I am doing everything right?”
Dear sister, you are not broken. You are being called deeper.
This lie drives us to:
Overcommit
Compare ourselves to others
Feel guilt over rest or unmet goals
But here is God’s truth:
Truth Declaration:
“My value is not in what I do but in who I am in Christ. I am already complete in Him, and He is the source of my deepest fulfillment.”
1️⃣ We confuse balance with abundance.
Balancing life is good, but only Christ fills the soul.
2️⃣ We chase external success instead of internal peace.
True fulfillment comes from intimacy with God, not achievement.
3️⃣ We carry silent longings and gifts we have not yet explored.
Sometimes that ache is an invitation, not a failure.
“Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.” — Revelation 2:4 (KJV)
Before all the roles and responsibilities, you were God’s beloved daughter.
Come back to Him—not just in action, but in affection.
Instead of silencing the ache, get curious.
What is God stirring in your heart?
What dreams, callings, or gifts have been buried under busy?
Ask Him: “Lord, what is the MORE You are inviting me into?”
You do not need to fix everything overnight.
Start with one small act of obedience—a prayer, a conversation, a step.
God will meet you in the movement.
Where am I feeling something essential is missing?
What lie am I believing about fulfillment?
How is God inviting me into deeper connection and purpose?
