🔓 From Lie-Locked Living to Truth Mindset

Applying the T.R.U.T.H.™ Framework to a Culture in Crisis

We are living in a time when many no longer know what is right or wrong. The waters have been muddied by cultural confusion, moral relativism, and the rejection of God’s truth. As I listened to “Whatever Happened to Right and Wrong?” by Chip Ingram, I heard a cry not just for morality—but for clarity, courage, and conviction.

We are not merely facing behavior problems—we are facing a mindset crisis. And the only true solution is spiritual renewal rooted in the Word of God.

This is where the T.R.U.T.H.™ Mindset Framework comes in—a Biblical process for breaking free from Lie-Locked Living and walking in the freedom Christ offers.

Let us explore how each step speaks directly to the cultural confusion Chip described, and how we as Christian women can reclaim truth in our thinking, our homes, and our lives.

🔎 T – Target the Lie (Awareness)

We cannot overcome what we will not confront.

The first step in transformation is recognizing the lie—those subtle messages and distorted beliefs we have accepted from the world around us. These lies often sound like:

  • “Truth is relative.”

  • “What’s right for you is not right for me.”

  • “If it feels good, do it.”

But Scripture gives us a clear warning:

📖 “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” – Proverbs 14:12 KJV

When truth becomes subjective, confusion reigns. We must have the courage to name the lies we have believed—about morality, identity, purpose, and God—and bring them into the light.

📖 R – Replace with Scripture (Anchor)

Once the lie is exposed, it must be replaced with God’s unchanging truth. The only reliable anchor in a world full of shifting values is the Word of God.

📖 “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” – Psalm 119:11 KJV
📖 “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” – John 17:17 KJV

Scripture does not merely inform—it transforms. It stabilizes our minds and secures our souls. When we feel the pull of cultural thinking, we must ask: What does the Bible say?

🧠 U – Understand Its Meaning (Alignment)

It is not enough to quote verses—we must understand them.

This is the step where alignment happens—when we invite the Holy Spirit to reveal what God’s Word truly means and how it applies to our lives.

📖 “Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.” – Psalm 119:34 KJV
📖 “In all thy getting get understanding.” – Proverbs 4:7 KJV

Our culture is full of people who can repeat slogans but cannot reason through truth. We must be women who study, reflect, and grow in discernment.

📣 T – Turn It into a Truth Declaration (Activation)

Once we know the truth, we must speak it boldly.

Turning truth into a declaration is not just about encouragement—it is about activating faith and choosing agreement with God. It aligns our words with His promises.

📖 “Let the redeemed of the LORD say so…” – Psalm 107:2 KJV
📖 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue...” – Proverbs 18:21 KJV

Your declaration might sound like:

“I reject the lie that truth is subjective. God’s Word is my absolute foundation, and I will walk in His truth with confidence.”

Declarations bring clarity. They silence confusion. They reframe our reality.

🙏 H – Hold It in Prayer (Abide)

Lasting transformation requires daily surrender and spiritual intimacy. We must hold the truth before God—not just in discipline, but in devotion.

This step is about abiding—resting in the truth, praying it through, and allowing it to shape us from the inside out.

📖 “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” – John 15:7 KJV
📖 “Pray without ceasing.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV

We do not wrestle against flesh and blood—we wrestle against lies. And the battleground is often our mind. Prayer keeps us anchored in the Spirit, guided by truth, and covered in grace.

🌟 From Lie-Locked to Truth-Led

Chip Ingram’s message was clear: We are not just in a cultural war. We are in a truth crisis.

The enemy wants believers to stay silent, uncertain, and emotionally driven. But the Spirit of God calls us to be sober-minded, bold in truth, and grounded in the Word.

📖 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” – John 8:32 KJV

Let us be women who THINK.
Let us be women who STAND.
Let us be women who ABIDE.

And let us raise up others to do the same.
