Christian Life Coaching for women is the quiet table where holy desire meets holy order. We do not rush the work; we reverence it. Our Lord counsels us to sit down first, to pray, to plan, and to build with peace: “For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost…?” (Luke 14:28, KJV).
This blog invites you to step out of Lie-Locked Living and into a Truth Mindset—thinking with Scripture until your steps agree with God. Using my T.O.W.E.R. Framework—Target the Aim, Outline Resources, Write Milestones, Establish Boundaries, and Review and Rejoice—we will watch how God’s wisdom turns chaos into clarity.
Through the biblical case study of Abigail you will see courage under pressure, truth shaping thought, and orderly action that averts disaster. Take a deep breath, sister. The Master Builder is near, and He will teach your hands to build and your heart to rest.
“For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?” — Luke 14:28, KJV
Christian Life Coaching for women is the calm table where you sit down first, open the Scriptures, and turn holy desire into a faithful plan. We do not rush; we reverence. We count the cost, set things in order, and build with peace. “Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.” — Proverbs 16:3, KJV
Lie-Locked Living happens when repeating fears start to sound like truth: It is too late. I cannot change this. All is lost. Scripture breaks those chains. “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” — John 17:17, KJV
A Truth Mindset is the holy habit of thinking with Scripture until the heart agrees with God. In coaching, we practice T.R.U.T.H.:
T — Target the Lie (Awareness): Name the thought that opposes God’s Word.
R — Replace with Scripture (Anchor): Choose a verse that answers it. “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” — John 8:32, KJV
U — Understand Its Meaning (Alignment): Ask, “What must I do in obedience today?” “Bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 10:5, KJV
T — Turn It into a Declaration (Activation): Speak it aloud with faith.
H — Hold It in Prayer (Abide): Pray it daily until peace takes root. “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee.” — Isaiah 26:3, KJV
Coaching lens: Christian Life Coaching helps you practice this rhythm until courage becomes your new normal. “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7, KJV
The Moment: Nabal’s folly provoked David. Wrath was riding swiftly toward the household. Into this crisis stepped Abigail, a woman of “good understanding” (1 Samuel 25:3, KJV). She moved with prayerful speed, not panic.
“Then Abigail made haste, and took two hundred loaves, and two bottles of wine… and five measures of parched corn… and laid them on asses.” — 1 Samuel 25:18, KJV
“And when Abigail saw David, she hasted, and lighted off the ass… and fell before David on her face.” — 1 Samuel 25:23–24, KJV
“And David said to Abigail, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which sent thee this day to meet me… and blessed be thou.” — 1 Samuel 25:32–33, KJV
T — Target the Lie: “Violence is inevitable; nothing can be done.”
Truth: “Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.” — Psalm 34:14, KJV
R — Replace with Scripture: She chose the way of a gentle, courageous answer.
Anchor: “A soft answer turneth away wrath.” — Proverbs 15:1, KJV
U — Understand Its Meaning: Peace required preparation and a humble appeal. She understood that wise action and wise words must arrive together.
Insight: “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God.” — James 1:5, KJV
T — Turn It into a Declaration: Her words declared a different future: mercy over vengeance, blessing over bloodshed (see 1 Samuel 25:26, 28–31).
Practice: Speak life into the moment God assigns to you.
H — Hold It in Prayer: Though the text does not record her prayer, her posture reveals dependence. She bowed low, chose righteousness, and trusted God to move the heart of a king in waiting.
Peace: “Great peace have they which love thy law.” — Psalm 119:165, KJV
Coaching lens: A Truth Mindset does not deny danger; it denies fear the driver’s seat. In Life Coaching, we train your thoughts to follow Scripture, so your steps follow wisdom.
Godly planning is not unbelief; it is obedience. Abigail embodied Luke 14:28 under pressure.
Aim: Avert bloodshed and preserve her household by appealing to David with humility and gifts.
Coaching support: Clarify the godly outcome before you move.
Resources: Food provisions, servants, donkeys, a safe route, timely information. She used what she had, quickly.
Coaching support: List time, talent, training, treasure, and team. “Through wisdom is an house builded.” — Proverbs 24:3, KJV
Milestones in order:
Assemble the offering.
Send it before her as a peace gesture.
Intercept David en route.
Speak a soft answer with prophetic wisdom.
Coaching support: Turn desire into dated, sequenced steps. “Let all things be done decently and in order.” — 1 Corinthians 14:40, KJV
Boundary: She did not waste time arguing with a drunken Nabal that night (1 Samuel 25:36). She guarded focus to reach the person she could influence.
Coaching support: Protect margin, say no to distractions, and steward your energy. “Redeeming the time.” — Ephesians 5:16, KJV
Outcome: David blessed the Lord, blessed her counsel, and turned from wrath (1 Samuel 25:32–35).
Coaching support: Review what God did, adjust what you will do next, and give thanks. “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23, KJV
Problem-Focus → Stewardship-Focus: “I have a problem” becomes “I have a stewardship and a next step.”
Obstacle → Next Step to Solve: “This obstacle stops me” becomes “This is an area for growth; my next step is ____.”
Christian Life Coaching for women helps you see what Abigail saw: the moment is not a trap; it is a trust. Count the cost, choose the wise path, and move with ordered courage.
