“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” – Genesis 1:1 (KJV)
The very first verse in the Bible establishes the ultimate foundation for our lives: God is the Creator. Everything begins with Him. As Christian women seeking to live lives of purpose, balance, and truth, we must revisit the beginning to find the clarity and courage we need for today.
From Genesis 1, we learn that the earth was “without form, and void,” and darkness covered the deep. But God did not leave it that way. He spoke light, structure, and purpose into existence—day by day, step by step.
So often, our lives feel void or formless. We look at our dreams, our homes, or even our calendars, and feel overwhelmed by the chaos. But just as God brought order to creation, He can bring order to your life.
“Let all things be done decently and in order.” – 1 Corinthians 14:40 (KJV)
Genesis 1:27 tells us: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”
Dear sister, you were not a mistake. You were handcrafted in God’s image with divine intention. When you understand that your identity is rooted in the Creator Himself, insecurity loses its grip.
As a Christian Life Coach, I remind my clients that you are not trying to become someone special—you already are. Our goal is to align your mindset and actions with the truth of who God says you are.
In Genesis 2:15, we see that God placed Adam in the garden “to dress it and to keep it.” He had responsibility, purpose, and a role in God’s bigger plan.
Likewise, you are entrusted with your own "garden"—your relationships, gifts, and resources. Stewardship is a spiritual act. Whether you are raising children, leading a team, or launching a business, God invites you to tend what He has given you with diligence and grace.
Genesis 2:16-17 includes the instruction God gave Adam about the tree of knowledge. God's boundaries were not meant to limit but to protect.
In coaching, we explore how boundaries empower you to live with clarity and peace. God is not withholding good from you—He is safeguarding your soul.
“The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.” – Psalm 19:7 (KJV)
Genesis 3 introduces the serpent, who begins with a simple question: “Yea, hath God said…?” That ancient lie is still whispered today: “Did God really call you? Are you really capable? What if you fail?”
The Truth Mindset is the antidote to those lies. When you align your thoughts with God’s Word, you silence the serpent and walk in spiritual victory.
Zig Ziglar said, “You cannot consistently perform in a manner that is inconsistent with the way you see yourself.”
Let us renew our minds daily with God’s truth, just as Romans 12:2 commands, so we may be transformed into the women God designed us to be.
Genesis is not just the beginning of the Bible—it is the blueprint for understanding your origin, purpose, and value. In the beginning, God created. And today, He is still creating… through you.
If you are ready to explore how to build your life on biblical principles, I invite you to connect with me. Christian Life Coaching can help you uncover what God has planted in you—and help you grow it for His glory.
